It's funny, only yesterday I was thinking about the very first time I saw a squirrel, walking down a street in Cambridge. In the days before it was feasible to own a good camera with a zoom. I used to feel the same about squirrels until I moved to the US... then we had them living our loft... we borrowed a cage/ trap & I set about capturing the little blighters (humanely)... I caught around 15... the hubby would leave for work, with his thermos, work bag and his squirrel in cage... Very funny... then he'd pop to the local park on the way and free them... He actually had to factor in 'squirrel releasing' into his daily commute! More immportantly, I could add 'squirrel catcher' to my CV... to say my life has changed would be an under exaggeration... Oh, and I thought possums were cute in Oz and then I caught one of them and realised they look like giant rats! Happy Humpday!
