&
unusually for us....there's still an hour till midnight.....
the kiddos are tucked up all snug in their beds...
stockings have been hung with care...
in hopes that saint nicholas soon will be here...
we've had a little glass of baileys...
the two of us sharing that moment on christmas eve...
when you count your blessings together...
...so all i have left to do...
before tucking up my weary self in bed
is to wish all of you
my dear bloggy friends
my virtual coffee guests
...a wonderfully special & happy christmas...
my life is richer for having all of you in it
thank you
&
i hope your stockings are brimming over
i think you all deserve it!

ReplyDeleteHave a Very Merry Christmas Melissa... I've missed you and your kind words in Blogland! I'm locked in the kitchen for the day cooking the feast... Kids teetering on the edge of meltdowns, but as the hubby says 'this is the magic of Christmas' and you know what, I wouldn't have it any other way... except maybe back home in the UK ;-) Take care. Lx

ReplyDeleteAhhhh - helloooooo - it's now new year's eve as I type this so I am a little late to this wonderful festive Christmas Eve party! However I am sure Christmas was wonderful and that you'll be having a jolly time. May I just say the stockings were just - exceptional. How on earth did Santa know their names? They were just totally bowled over. And it warmed my heart that you did it. So I owe you! You made a family memory for a family you have never met all the way up there in the North and me as far South as you can be in this little island! Be back soon. Happy NYE! Lou xx

and your family. I'm looking

buddies close at hand. Big
Monday hugs to you, today!

I think one good thing about Christmas is the amount of time couples get to spend together. I'm glad you and your husband get some time alone from the kids.
