Such were the very grown up thoughts of his little sister Audrey on Saturday morning!
Sol turned 9 with all the usual excitement and preparation that a birthday entails...
There were party bags to tag, fill, re-fill and just sneak things into and from for 2days before hand...
There were 25 cupcakes to be baked and iced in just the perfect grass green with little chocolate football sweets on top....
There were 3 very excited short people waiting alllllll day......
And there was R and I- mum and dad- toasting our gorgeous boy and our delight in having had him for 9 years....each year we have a 'story' about the day they arrived-by 9 you can almost tell your own like you actually remember it...
For Sol he was born in 40 degree heat on an incredible summers day in Manly, Sydney, Australia whilst we were watching the Australian Open tennis tournament!
From the moment we saw him- chubby {9 pound 5 ounces},brown, and all lovely and squishy and content we all loved him- and no one more than his big sister Ella...at nearly 3 she became his constant companion- and that's how all 3 of them spend soo much of their days- 'together'- Ella, Sol and Audrey. And we couldn't be prouder...
