...ella in wonderland...

...so today i am feeling a little bit 'ripped off'....it's about the weather!

...the gorgeous big ol' sun has at last given us a few consistent days of warmth...& i now have a terrible, 'i am seriously feeling sorry for myself'...headcold...how does this work out? this was so not my plan...

...i am meant to be cruising into the real start of spring all carefree & well....springy!!!

...so today i am going to focus on something other than my headiness...to make me feel better...
...miss.ella's 12 th birthday...

...my baby is now 12...& i know alot of you have much bigger almost real teenager sized kids- but for us she's the biggest we got & we wouldn't change a little tiny bit of her for the world...ok maybe the semi-vague way she eats,...or doesn't eat, her cereal in the morning... we'd change that a bit...but that's it!!...

...as the most mermaid & salty of our kids- i went into labour with her whilst swimming laps & she was almost born in the birthing centre bath- she has done so well to turn 12 with an absolute lack of saltwater in her gorgeous blonde hair & sand between her toes...

...in fact she turned 12 in an almost ella in wonderland way...

...we had union jacks galore- in homage to her second home...

...silver iced cupcakes...& x-factor good karaoke under apple red fairy lights...

...drink me bottles of fizzy magic, disco balls & dancing....

... funny looking bulbs & flowers...

...& ella rose spring bags of sweets, lollies & asian fortune telling wish fish...

with a good dose of general silliness & 'almost teen but still couldn't-care-less about being sullen-and-cool on the side lines' kinda mayhem!

...not sure who loved it the most...the girls or the village?
...it's hard to ignore karaoke, a full tramoline of tricks, laughter...& screaming {!!} & a garden of glittering gals...

...so the sand inside the bikini will have to wait till we sneak back to greece in june..but this was most definately a wonderful way to turn 12...

...oh & just one more thing about the weather...it shone on her all day! & so it should have!

...happy birthday ella rose...

  4. Looks like a fabulous party!! My eldest just turned 18 and am still trying to get my head around that. At least we are nearly past her teenage years! My youngest is still 10 though so its nice to still do kids stuff with her :0)
