...i have had a lovely afternoon reading up on *other peoples* saturdays & sundays...

...having a little lookie at what others did on their saturdays & sundays...
...i had alot of *other* things to do today...
... two of my kids decided to swap rooms on saturday...
...i even love this on the weekend...
...semi-chaos room moving...
...secretly we all love a good room change don't we...

...this one i could blame argue was by request from the kids!...
...so today i had rooms to *finish off*...
...orders to sew...
&
...photos to sort out...
but
...it rained this afternoon & i just made tea...
&
blog hopped through *other* lovely inspiring saturdays...
{well before *pick-up*...then i collected the kiddos...really i did...just...}
...back here in ol' Blighty...
...we have had gorgeous *Glastonbury* sunny weather...
{yep Glastonbury being the super-cool-rock-festival to mark the start of the british summer}
...we have bbq-ued & raved on about the glories of a british summer for almost a week now...
...yep a whole week of sunshine...
...really HOT sunshine!...
...our saturday involved a few of my most fave things...
kids
a parade
vintage flags & cars
british sunshine
old fashioned village life
pimms
marquees
&
...for us aussies this is the same as a *surf carnival*...
...with no salt spray...
&

...the parade came up through the village past our front door...
...so commitment from us was as simple as eating our farm eggs on rolls at the gate...
...when the sun is out...

I can't believe this is the life you live. I 'm so jealous. Especially when it's 110 here, and it NEVER rains.
ReplyDeleteAs a kid I would of hated to switch bedrooms. That is one of the reasons why I'm glad I was born as a only child. I don't like change. Everyone is different though.
