...we have bbq-ued & raved on about the glories of a british summer for almost a week now...
...yep a whole week of sunshine...

...so back to my love of saturdays...
...our saturday involved a few of my most fave things...
kids
a parade
vintage flags & cars
british sunshine
old fashioned village life
pimms
marquees
&
bunting
...for us aussies this is the same as a *surf carnival*...
...but in the countryside...

...with no salt spray...
&
...steam trains...

&
...the parade came up through the village past our front door...
...so commitment from us was as simple as eating our farm eggs on rolls at the gate...
...sitting with a pot of tea...

...british country life can be blissfully easy...
...when the sun is out...
&
...the village is lovely...

&
...vintage images pass by as you eat egg rolls...

  5. I can't believe this is the life you live. I 'm so jealous. Especially when it's 110 here, and it NEVER rains.

  6. As a kid I would of hated to switch bedrooms. That is one of the reasons why I'm glad I was born as a only child. I don't like change. Everyone is different though.
