i secretly hope they smell like salt air & have a little jar of *manly sand* for us is their bags...
they have just flown 26 hours from sydney to england to be part of our little life, with us, for a bit...
to say our kiddos are a little excited is a massive understatement!
i also have a zillion last minute things to do...
but cannot concentrate on a one!
so here i sit pounding the keyboard of my mac...
hoping those lovely little cleaning fairies will finish making cosy snuggly beds upstairs & feed my kiddos porridge whilst i wait...& wait....
...there is nothing like family becomming part of your *life abroad* for a bit...
...it makes your heart sing...
&
...your kiddos wild with love & excitement...
oh my, i can almost hear the excitement of the little one's...enjoy it all x

ReplyDeleteAww so excited for you... my mum is coming over for a whole month in a couple of weeks and I'm already drawing up lists of things I have to do before... my little girl tells anybody that will listen 'My mama is coming to live with me until Valentines Day'... why Valentines Day I don't know... but it's sweet... Enjoy this special time with your family! Lx
ReplyDeleteI have a feeling you make a wonderful hostess! Enjoy your friends and don't worry if you don't have every little detail in order before their arrival. It doesn't matter, just enjoy each others company, the sound of extra, familiar laughter in the house, sharing meals together, going on long walks, and catching up. Ok, now I'm missing my best friends who are only 8 hours away but I don't see quite often enough.
ReplyDeleteXO, Tess
