i'm tucked up in bed on the laptop for a last little blog hop, before getting a few hours sleep & then waking up the *kiddos* for our very very very early morning trip to the island of Gozo, off the gorgeous coast of Malta...
our last few weeks of sunshine & uninterrupted family time- European Vacation-ing- before the Autumn quickly becomes winter, as it does round these country parts!
so...more of this kinda thing for the next two weeks...
i'll miss you - as you well know...
but there's gonna be a give-away in here somewhere...as there always is when we do a little travelling... ;)
the deal is...let me know a little something that you love to do when the season's are changing...
whether you're heading into spring or autumn...(fall!)...what do you love about this time of year...?
having lived in both hemisphere's...there is much that i love, & look forward to, about each...
i shared my big autumn love of all things ruffly & crafty here -hope it inspires you a little...
so...what about you?
hit me with it...
inspire me to totally indulge in the change of seasons...
i'll be doing a little Maltese shopping with you in mind....
See ya soon...i'm missing you a little already....
~~~~
so the give-away drill gals:
1. share with me, your love of the changing seasons.
2. be a "Miss Sew & So" follower here & on FB
3. twitter/FB the giveaway if you feel the need to tweet!
4. let me know what you've done-each entry counts that little bit more....
~~~
happy *change-of-seasons* sweet bloggy friends
...in all things from the Med, covered in sunscreen...

Oh Wow Melissa! Have a super trip. It's hot as can be already here this morning. Just back from school walk and thinking of hopping in the shower again. Likewise here, there is barely a spring before it's scorching. Have a super holiday.

Have a lovely trip. I will eagerly await the photos. I am loving spring, I have been baking and tidying like a mad woman.
ReplyDeleteWishing you the happiest of sun-kissed travels Melissa :)
ReplyDeleteYou've been followed! Have a superb holiday!! 30 days till I get mine - hawaii again! Woo hoo! The weather has gotten cooler here in Chicago and today actually does feel a bit like Fall. The leaves are actually starting to change colors and fall ever so gently to the ground. Fall is by far my favorite season - the warm colors, golden sunsets, comfort food and holidays. Isn't every day a litte better with something pumpkin? Cheers!
ReplyDeleteI am loving that Autumn here means I can buy pumpkin again! I never realised how "seasonal" pumpkin was cause we ate it ALL the time at home in Australia. Oh how I missed it when we moved here. Now I am making pumpkin soup, roast pumpkin, pumpkin loaf, and anything else I can fit in!!
ReplyDeleteHave a brilliant trip, you lucky duck!
x
How heavenly, you gorgeous girl. Another holiday! Just blissful. Enjoy every second of it. Hmm, well it's part of The Great Unpack but I am relishing doing some spring cleaning, especially in a certain *room of my own*! J x
ReplyDeleteHi Melissa,
ReplyDeleteWe hope you have a marvellous time. The whole area of Malta is absolutely stunning. Take care, and we look forward to hearing all about it when you return.

I'm so jealous of all your wonderful vacations! Can I come live with you? :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing about going into fall is that the days are still warm, but the mornings and evenings are a little cooler. It's so nice to sit out on the back patio in the morning with a cup of cofee and in the evening with a glass of wine and just enjoy some fresh air. (Our summers are so hot and muggy even in the am and pm to enjoy sitting outside).
I also love that fall means football season, as I LOVE football!
Have a fabulous vacation! Can't wait to see your pictures!
Hi Melissa, Wishing you a wonderful time on your holiday. Relax and enjoy! x
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous images! I grew up in Northern CA which had the loveliest of season changes. I know live in Phoenix where there are only 2~ hot and hotter. :(
ReplyDeleteEnjoy, enjoy, enjoy!
ReplyDeleteFall love for me is....the birthday of my girls! As for celebrating Fall? well, you know how I feel about cold, rain, wind and lost of leaves to clean up....anyhoo, see you when you get back, tanned, shopped out and rested from your family break,
bye! Mx
Hope you have a great holiday :) I am already a follower. I love Autumn approaching with the slight chill in the air and the changing colours and being able to wear scarves and hats again :)
ReplyDeleteBee happy x

"relief" : )
ReplyDeleteThe changing seasons are just so full of promise. The newness of the days feels unknown and unchartered. The nights bring relief from the heat, from the cold. Springtime (my time now) is my most favourite of all as the world seems to burst open after being closed up for the winter. x
ReplyDeleteHi melissa, looking forward to your giveaway!!! I really love when i spy the very first calla lillies in the bush land accross from the school at the end of winter, the first signs of spring!! And i get really excited when we have our first beach visit at the start of summer and we get home smelling of the salty air and sunscreen!! i Loooove that! knowing that the whole summer lies ahead ... all those warm bright happy days, school holidays, christmas, bbqs etc!! Definently my favourites!!!
