the evening is warm & muggy
the bbq is ready...

Our BBQ has been on and the prawns and pavlova have long been eaten! Now it's feet up with the doors open, the fans on and watching the tennis (and waiting for the mens semi) with a chilled glass of Australian wine. Oh, and trying o work out how to get those Aussie flag tattoos off before school in the morning!
ReplyDeletehappy snap Australia day!

Happy Australia Day! :) I hope you have a lovely one :)
ReplyDeletesounds lovely--especially on such a chilly, rainy, dreary day here in the states. the beach looks gorgeous, imagining myself there right now....
ReplyDeleteIt's so crazy having first started "journeying" with you whilst you lived in the UK (and turning green with every post I read) to now have you celebrating Oz day with me! Ours was lovely (but oh so hot - 41.9 degrees... which is really just numbers for "Bleep! The pavers are to hot to stand on and Bleep! The pool is like bathwater!!") and Hubby decided to greet the garbo with a six pack ... only in Australia! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'm so, so pleased to hear that you're where you belong - I can just hear it in your voice. You sound so happy and contented.
ReplyDeleteAnd I can't believe all the stuff you've got round to so quickly - super-impressive!
