can i just thank everyone who ever visits me for their gorgeous comments...x
honestly i get myself a little overwhelmed at times with re-reading some of the thoughts you share with me...
this bunting was a thank you gift from me to you...
but i am the one feeling very special....& very lucky...
of course i am the *worst* at these sort of things...
i can't bear choosing anyone over anyone else...
it's a bit of a *mantra* in our big ol'house here "that no-one is more special than anyone else"...
i am also completely *old school* with the actual choosing...
i have to do it the only way i know how...
no fancy bloggy counters...
no on-line random numbers...
just a little pile of folded papers & a christmas stocking...
& i'd rather, if push came to shove, & i had the time...
just make everyone who left me a lovely thought, a big long string of bunting...
but i have so many other things to get done...
so many other orders to finish...
that i can really only slip a little extra sewing in there...
so....my lovely lovely suzanne from privet & holly...
you'll be hanging bunting that looks like *one of my old vintage plates*...
even as i type this i'm thinking *what's a few more rows of bunting!! draw another one as well*...
but i think i need to just gracefully move on with my day now...
so...my friday flower is going to the rest of you...
you know how much it means to me that you come & have virtual tea with me all the time...
that you listen to my thoughts &...well my waffling...
just as i love to come & be part of yours...
yep....thoughts, waffling, images, friendship...
that's a pretty blessed bunch to share...
happy friday everyone...
have a wonderful weekend of almost summer or almost winter wherever you are...
xox
if you'd like to share a virtual flower with someone special

Congratulations Suzanne, you are a very lucky girl! And thanks Melissa for the cuppa and flowers, I nearly have the strength to do the ironing now. Oh maybe just look at one or two more blogs!!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the roses Melissa. It's hot, hot, hot here on the Beaches today. My Miss has gone off to a party at the Manly Oceanarium, or as one of my sons little friends once said "Manly Hairy Ocean". We are definitely heading across to the beach when she gets home!
ReplyDeleteHave a super fabulous weekend.
Love that I'm not the only "old school" duckie around.

ReplyDeleteLove these images of the soft pink roses. Gorgeous! I bet they smell divine xox
Hi there... beautiful Roses. Suzanne is a very lucky lady to receive such a beautiful gift from you (and look at what beautiful handwriting you have (not like my chicken scratch)... Love your mail basket BTW... I may have to steal that idea for my place... we always have piles of mail stacked on the desk... adding to the disorganized look of this place... Hoping you have a fantastic and relaxing weekend. Lx
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend to you Melissa!! Love that stocking and the roses - can smell them through the computer!! Leanne xx
ReplyDeleteYou lucky duck, Suzanne! Make sure you post photos of it for us. And Miss Melissa, what can I say? Well, we're the lucky ones - thanks for sharing your life with us. J x PS I mentioned you in my last post, Sweetie.

ReplyDeleteMelissa, my heart just
ReplyDeleteJUMPED out of my chest
when I saw my bloggy name
on that slip of paper!
Really, my pulse is racing!
I've had a difficult week and
am so behind on blogs....
Finally a moment to catch
my breath and stop by for
a visit and now THIS! Hooray!
Can't wait until this little
beauty from YOUR home is
gracing mine. Thank you for
kindness and most of all,
your friendship.
xx Suzanne
PS: It's snowing outside,

Congrats Suzanne. I am staring at these beautiful pictures of the roses. So perfect!
ReplyDeleteI always love your posts - when I'm feeling overworked or low I can rely on your blog and the lovely pictures to lift me up and send me running off to enjoy my family and home.
