*a good life wednesday* with a british bestie...

morning....wednesday morning...
*good life wednesday* with miss.sarah from a beach cottage...
when i think of home...australia home...
i think of blue skies...sand...salt...the sound of kookaburra's...
when i think of our life in england...
i think of the countryside...wellies...football {soccer}...horse riding...travels abroad...flowers...

as spring is approaching...
&
this time i truly believe it is...
the countryside is coming alive...
we hear birds first thing as we wake again...
we have shoots appearing through out the garden...
i can *put* the kiddos out for much longer as the days are lengthening...
so...as spring is approaching...
the british-besite & i did our first spring-is-approaching-country-nursery-visit to mark the occasion...
& to fill my french tin buckets & pots at the front door...

there is nothing lovelier than cruising round back country lanes...
to hidden nursery gems with the b.b...
she has it all down pat...
car ready...
wellies on...
£20 limit...
including the coffee stop...
we delighted in the *nothing-ness* of it all...
just a gorgeous sun-shining saturday afternoon excursion round the farms...
two gals...
two hours...
& a mission for flowers to pot...

after a morning of vintage basket hunting...football {soccer} cheering...coffees & the park...
this was a perfect way to top of the day...
gorgeous wooden trays of daffs for £4.50...
ranunculus for 80 pence a tub...
little pots of white balansae for the same...
h.e.a.v.e.n...
truly a *good life wednesday*...

stop & smell the roses

  7. Love ranunculus. I can't believe it's already time for spring planting. It still seems like we're in the dog days of winter.
