i've been a little missing-in-action here for the last few days- it seems no matter how many *times* one
moves- i'ts never is really as simple as it may appear!
this is my current, & very needed mantra, this week...
we've had soo much to *restart* back here on the beaches...& yes it's all blessed by beautiful blue
skies & perfect beaches most days...but it's a balance at the moment ladies...
not that i'm remotely complaining about our beach house...garden...life...but it's currently a balance...
moving countries is not to be underestimated gals- even when one is moving *home*...
so...in between the boxes...& the balance i'm doing what makes me happiest...
hanging out with my beach babies & my i-phone...
i need to just stop & take in the beauty of where we've returned to...
i need to just stop & recharge from the *epic* journey home from the beautiful English countryside...
to our beautiful Australian beaches...
so...
if i'm missing in action for a few days at the moment...
i'm either in a box in the garage, or hanging out with the fam on one of the blessed beaches
we live beside...
feel free to join me at any moment...
blogging together on the beaches...toooo much fun!
love ya for being here for me...

So well said Melissa. You take the time to enjoy the move back home. Those boxes will not explode if they're not unpacked today!(Confession - I still have a couple of unpacked boxes...5 years down the line!! They're stored at the back of the garage with the things that I insisted needed to come to Australia with us...just don't tell the hubby!)
ReplyDeleteIt's okay to slow it down a little, so have fun on those stunning beaches.

Take your time Melissa...I can't even imagine what a big job it must be, although one day I'd love to experience it myself.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day :)

Definitely enjoy those beaches while the sun shines, those boxes can wait for a rainy day! :) xo K
ReplyDeleteStop to smell the flowers my lovely...something we BOTH should be doing more of...I still have boxes sitting in my studio..but today..my two little boys and I sat in the sun in our cottage garden and watched Thomas the tank race percy down the driveway...while mummy enjoyed a cup of earl and nursed a hungry little munchkin. As best as I could get it today...enough for me to notice beautiful flowers growing in our garden..that I had no idea were there before ; )
ReplyDeleteWe're still working through The Great Unpack, Miss - 9 months later! You'll get there, Lovely. J x
ReplyDeleteBalance is key Melissa. And you have had a huge huge few months. Recharging and savoring all the new moments and old memories is not to be underestimated. Take care. Amanda xx
ReplyDeleteGlad to see you are savouring the moment. When all the boxes are empty and your pieces are all in place it will be hard to image it wasn't always like that.
ReplyDeleteLovely shots today
Carolyn xx
Hi Melissa. I was just commenting to another blogging friend that I have only moved twice in my entire life, so I honour you for your courage and determination. Go easy on yourself, take a break, you are home now. Jane x
ReplyDeleteIt all looks gorgeous - I'm so envious :-)
