i love the shutters...the chippy paint...the linen curtains...
simple & inviting...
worn & loved...
these are the windows we lived alongside in our little french village in brittany...
oh it was hard to stop...
to stop staring longingly...
photographing constantly...
pulling off & throwing all of them in the back of the people mover...
...just some tuesday travelling for you...
...enjoy...
I DID enjoy....
ReplyDeleteThank you!
Some things you
just can't throw
in your suitcase ~
But we bring them
home with us, just
the same. Lucky you
to be talented
enough to take these
gorgeous photos!

oh every image there is just divine and so inviting...thank you for visiting me little space last night. Your adventures look amazing!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the mini-trip. It is the detail of a place that makes it feel true, like you've been there.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the nail box redo too. So cute and vintage and inviting!
Thanks for helping with the passport project!
Glad Sol can be involved!
sigh
ReplyDeleteyou transport me there every time!!!!
beautiful! the windows, the hinged shutters, the chippy paint, the stone...ahhhh....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures... all left me wondering what's behind those windows? More beauty, I imagine! Lx
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful...you make me want to jump on a plane.
ReplyDeleteOh I can so understand an obsession with these beautiful windows. Especially that half open one with the greenery growing up and around. Gorgeous photos Melissa. xx
ReplyDeleteThose pix are gorgeous! I have a window and door fetish. I am on the constant prowl for the perfect door. I would love to photograph some of BSD's surfboards in those locations. I've been trying to find local spots that look weathered and worn to take some shots but I haven't come up with anything like that. *sigh*

ReplyDeleteLooking through your window can make you feel nostalgic and reminisce the old days. It can even bring you to some place without making a single step. Anyway, I like the pics. The French windows have always been dignified, and have classic ways to bring a strong sense of style to an entire room.
